YAMAHA RACERS DOMINATE ROUND TWO OF PRO WATERCROSS NATIONAL TOUR

Yamaha continued its closed course domination this weekend at Round 2 of the Pro Watercross Tour held at Pensacola Beach, FL. Yamaha saw podium finishes across the top classes with Yamaha riders gaining more points as they continue to stretch their lead for the remaining five races.

The Yamaha FZR WaveRunner has become the top choice for riders in the Pro-Am Runabout class and it’s clear why with five of the top six finishers in the highly competitive class piloting Yamaha FZRs. Yamaha rider Abdullah Alfadhel grabbed the #2 spot for the weekend with fellow FZR rider Brian Baldwin taking #3.

Alfadhel and Baldwin saw the same finishes in the Pro-Am Runabout Open class, taking #2 and #3 respectively for the weekend. Overall, Alfadhel is leading the Pro-Am Runabout Open class in tour points.

Defending national champion Rob Greenwald continued his domination of the Runabout Normally Aspirated class, finishing first this weekend, and further extending his lead for the tour thus far.

And in the Pro-Am R/A Superstock class, Yamaha dominated the podium taking all three spots for the weekend.

Pro Watercross Tour action resumes June 20-21 in Sparks, NV.
