Yamaha WaterCraft Group, a division of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., today announced that it received two Neptune awards for its email marketing program and lead nurture system from the Marine Marketers of America (MMA). MMA’s annual Neptune awards are presented at the Miami International Boat Show Industry Breakfast in recognition of marketing excellence in the marine industry.
Yamaha won the Best Email Promo Blast category for its email marketing program that connects consumer leads from events, boat shows and online forms to a complete set of targeted content including videos, product comparisons, mobile apps, product updates and technology overviews.
Yamaha also won Best Marketing Innovation for its lead nurture system that creates custom lifestyle channels for consumers based on their interest in versatility, luxury or performance products. This targeted approach provides relevant rich media content to enhance the consumer experience around Yamaha's products pre purchase and connects seamlessly to Yamaha's customer support group for a great experience post purchase.
“Our email and lead nurture programs are 100% focused on creating a compelling experience for our customers built around the lifestyle they live and the products they will enjoy the most,” said Andrew Cullen, Yamaha’s digital marketing and communications manager. “As interactive experiences evolve, consumers expect highly targeted, personalized communication and that's exactly what we deliver with these marketing programs. It's an honor to be recognized by the Marine Marketers of America for our work in this area."
Formed in 2007, Marine Marketers of America is the exclusive, leading association of marketing professionals who specialize in publicizing, promoting, showing, advertising and selling the products, services and causes of the boating industry.
