Yamaha WaveRunner racers showed up in force for Round Four of the P1AquaX racing series held this weekend in St Cloud, FL. When all was said and done, Yamaha held seven of the nine podium spots across the 300, 250 and 200 classes.
Yamaha/Dean’s Team FZR rider Aqsa Aswar finished first in the 300 class and continued to stretch his overall lead. His older brother Aero, also racing a Yamaha/Dean’s Team FZR finished third for the round and remains in second overall, creating a brotherly rivalry leading into the final races of the year. Yamaha riders Mike Klippenstein and Troy Snyder took the fourth and fifth spots.
In 250 racing action, Yamaha FX SHO riders Ron Levy, Paloma Noceda, Troy Snyder and Brian Baldwin, took four of the top five positions, with Paloma continuing to lead the class in points overall.
In the 200 class, it was all Yamaha in the top four spots. Yamaha/Dean’s Team VXR riders Travis Zielasko and Rob Greenwald finished first and third respectively, as they continue to fight for the class’s overall point lead. Yamaha GP rider Tommy Olswang finished second for the round, followed by Scott Reeves aboard his VXR in fourth.
P1 AquaX racing action continues September 19-20 in Cocoa Beach, FL.
