Yamaha WaveRunner Racing is perfect through three rounds of the P1 AquaX tour, winning rounds 2 and 3 in dominate fashion.
At Round 3 held last weekend held in Sarasota, FL, Yamaha GP1800 rider Brian Baldwin finished first overall after two motos at the shortened event. Joining Baldwin on the podium was Yamaha GP1800 rider Cyrille Lemoine, who finished third overall.
At Round 2 held in St. Pete Beach, FL, Yamaha GP1800 riders Eric Francis, Brian Baldwin, and Nicolas Rius all won motos, but it was Yamaha FX SVHO rider Chris MacClugage, finishing second in all three motos, who placed first overall for the weekend.
The overall win also elevated MacClugage to #1 in the world rankings.
In all, Yamaha racers, to include GP1800 rider Mike Klippenstein, swept the top 5 positions.
After three rounds of the tour, Yamaha’s Chris MacClugage, Brian Baldwin, and Eric Francis round out the top 3 positions overall. Since the creation of the P1 AquaX Enduro Pro class, Yamaha is undefeated dating back to 2015.
The P1 AquaX tour moves to Islamorada, Fla., on August 19 for Round 4.
