Yamaha WaveRunner riders stamped their mark in the history books at the inaugural Pro Watercross Tour World Championships held September 22-27 in Naples, Florida, winning 19 world titles in the 22 classes where Yamaha competed.
In Pro-Am Runabout Stock action, Yamaha FZR rider Troy Snyder (pictured) took home the world title with Yamaha FX SVHO rider Brian Baldwin finishing third. Snyder rose to the occasion, besting his national tour championship performance by three spots.
In Pro-Am Runabout Superstock racing, it was a clean sweep for Yamaha with Stan Hightower, Victor Nolan, and Pro Watercross Tour national champion Abdullah Al-Fadhel finishing 1-2-3 aboard Yamaha FZRs.
And there was another Yamaha sweep in the Pro-Am Runabout Limited class with Yamaha FZR racers Travis Zielasko, Dustin Charrier, and Stan Hightower finishing 1-2-3 respectively.
In Pro-Am Runabout N/A Spec action, Yamaha VXR racer Rob Greenwald completed one of the most dominating seasons in PWC racing history, finishing the tour undefeated.
In the Pro-Am Runabout Box Stock class, Yamaha FZR riders Billy Dearman and Troy Snyder finished 1-2, capping off a great summer of racing for the Yamaha FZR.
And in Pro-Am Ski GP racing, multi-time world and national champion Chris MacClugage took home the gold aboard his Yamaha SuperJet.
